Social Commitment

Ethics

Titan adheres to strict ethical standards highlighted in our Code of Conduct, as well as other company policies. Our policies help employees understand and provide guidance on their responsibilities as Titan representatives. These policies include prohibitions of insider trading, how to manage actual or perceived conflicts of interest, and information on regulatory compliance and gifts and entertainment.

Health and Safety

The health and safety of our employees is a top priority at every facility and throughout all of our operations. We have policies and trainings in place to make sure our global teams are complying with the best health and safety practices. Many of our operations have health and safety management systems in place and the ITM Mining business in Australia is certified to OSHAS 18001. We are working toward expanding those management systems across our global footprint.

Diversity

We pride ourselves in the diversity of our employees and work hard to be a place of acceptance. To ensure that everyone is treated with the dignity and respect that they deserve, we have strict policies that prohibit discrimination based on sex, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, socioeconomic status, immigration status, national or social origin, or any other protected status.

In Russia for example, women make up half of our workforce and half of our executive level employees. In Peru, women make up a quarter of our workforce and third of our executive level employees.

Human Rights

We strongly believe that human rights are universal. At Titan, this means that we uphold the basic human rights detailed in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and International Labour Organization for every employee and stakeholder. This includes strict prohibitions on child and forced labor, as well as procedures to ensure we are not complicit in human rights abuses.
